Public Notice – WATER TANKERS TO ASSIST AREAS EXPERIENCING WATER CHALLENGES – 01 May 2024

Due to low reservoir levels, some areas within the municipality are experiencing water supply challenges. Polokwane Municipality is taking immediate action to address this issue by deploying water tankers to assist affected areas.

The following areas are experiencing water shortages:

  • Extensions 71, 73, 75, and 76;
  • Legae la Batho;
  • Upper Seshego Zone 2 and 3;
  • Luthuli Park;
  • Bendor and Flora Park;
  • Zone 7; and
  • Plein Street in the City area, extending up to Natorp.

Additionally, some areas are experiencing low water pressure, including Madiba Park and the lower parts of Seshego Zone 3.

Residents in areas currently receiving water supply are urged to use water sparingly to alleviate pressure on the system.

Polokwane Municipality apologizes for any inconvenience caused by these water supply challenges. Every effort is being made to restore normal water supply as quickly as possible.
