In a heartfelt demonstration of commitment to foundational education, the Executive Mayor of Polokwane Municipality, Cllr Makoro John Mpe, graced the official inauguration of Matshela Daycare in the Molepo area today.

 

 

Executive Mayor Mpe’s presence was not the only testament to his dedication; he also generously donated 20 sponge mattresses and contributed R24,000 worth of groceries. This tangible support by Executive Mayor is to ensure that the daycare has the necessary resources to nurture and nourish the young minds under its care for the coming year. It further exemplifies his profound belief in the transformative power of education, especially during the crucial formative years.

 

 

Cllr Mpe emphasised the importance of grassroots education and the role it plays in shaping the trajectory of our society. He said “early childhood education lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning, growth, and opportunity”.
