POSSIBLE WATER SUPPLY DISRUPTIONS DUE TO NECESSARY INSPECTIONS IN SESHEGO DAM

Polokwane Municipality wishes to inform members of the community that the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) will be conducting important intake inspections, which require work in and around the water, at the Seshego Dam from Monday, 30 September to Friday, 4 October 20 24.

These inspections will demand a temporary interruption of water intake to the Seshego Water Treatment Works (WTW) from the dam for a few hours each day. As a result, residents in the Seshego area may experience disruptions in their water supply during this period.

The municipality will closely monitor the situation and ensure that temporary relief measures are in place for areas affected by water shortages.

Polokwane Municipality apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
