POWER OUTAGE IN BENDOR AREA

Polokwane Municipality wishes to inform the community about the current power outage affecting parts of the Bendor area, specifically near Thornhill. This disruption is due to an unfortunate incident of cable theft along the road in the vicinity.

Municipal technical team is on-site and working to restore power. However, at this stage, the municipality is unable to provide an estimated time for the restoration of electricity. Every effort is being made to resolve this issue as promptly as possible.

Polokwane Municipality appeals to all community members to join the municipality in the fight against cable theft, which continues to affect essential services and infrastructure.

Any suspicious activity can be reported immediately to the South African Police Service at 08600 10111 or to Polokwane Municipality Law Enforcement Office at 015 290 2458 / 2514.

The municipality appreciates understanding and cooperation of all.
