SCHEDULED SHUTDOWN OF THE DAP NAUDE PIPELINE FOR MAINTENANCE


Polokwane Municipality wishes to inform residents and businesses of a scheduled shutdown of the Dap Naude pipeline to conduct essential maintenance and address identified leaks as follows:

  • Date: Wednesday, 11 December 2024
  • Duration: 18 hours (00:00 – 18:00)


This will affect water supply Bendor area, Central Business District (CBD), Fauna Park, Flora Park, Serala View, Sterpark and Moregloed.


To mitigate the inconvenience, the municipality will provide water tankers to supply affected areas with water as a temporary relief measure. Normal water supply will resume as soon as repairs are completed and the system is fully operational.


Polokwane Municipality regrets any inconvenience caused and appreciates understanding and cooperation of all as it works to ensure the integrity of the municipal water infrastructure.
