HONORING A FALLEN HERO

Polokwane Municipality’s Member of the Mayoral Committee on Community Safety, Cllr Joosuf Pemma, representing Executive Mayor Cllr Makoro John Mpe, stood in solidarity with Minister of Defence and Military Veterans Angie Motshekga( and Limpopo MECs for Agriculture and Treasury *Nakedi Kekana and Kgabo Mahoai, respectively, to pay tribute to the late Rifleman (Rfn) PTE Sebatane Richard Chokoe at his funeral service in Mokgokong Village.

Rfn Chokoe, a dedicated South African soldier, made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty while serving in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

His bravery and commitment to protecting peace and stability will forever be remembered.

Polokwane Municipality salutes this fallen warrior.
