Public Notice – ADJUSTED MUNICIPAL SERVICES DURING EASTER 2024 – 27 March 2024
All municipal customers are informed of the early closure of municipal offices, including the Rates Hall for Easter. Offices will close at 12h00 on Thursday, 28 March 2024 and open on Tuesday, 02 April 2024.
All emergency and essential services, such as fire and rescue, water and sanitation, electricity, waste collection and traffic management, will remain available to the public at all times.

For water smart meter assistance, call 015 290 2376 or WhatsApp 068 290 8736.
For reconnection of services, dial 083 301 3738 / 083 673 3238 / 081 716 1343 / 081 747 0878.
Customers who wish to make payments for municipal services can do so through the following methods:
- Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT);
- Pick n Pay;
- Shoprite/Checkers;
- Spar Supermarkets; and
- Woolworths.
Prepaid water and electricity can be purchased at:
- 7/11 shop at corner of Marshall and Drop streets;
- Cellphone purchases;
- Spar Supermarkets; and
- Most filling stations.
