CONTINUED PROVISION OF TEMPORARY WATER RELIEF THROUGH WATER TANKERS

Polokwane Municipality acknowledges the water supply challenges currently affecting the city and Seshego areas due to the malfunction at the Olifantspoort Pump Station 3 (PS3), as communicated by Lepelle Northern Water today.

In response to this ongoing situation, the municipality will continue to deploy water tankers to affected areas to ensure residents have access to temporary water relief. The provision of water tankers will remain in place until normal water supply is restored by Lepelle Northern Water.

The municipality urges all residents receiving to use water sparingly during this time and cooperate with the municipality to ensure fair distribution of the water resources available.

Updates regarding the progress of repairs at Olifantspoort Pump Station 3 and any changes to the water supply situation will be communicated as soon as they become available.
