EBENEZER PLANT TEMPORARILY OFFLINE

Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) has informed Polokwane Municipality of an emergency stoppage of the Ebenezer Plant due to a manhole leak in Haenertsburg. Repair work is currently underway and is expected to be completed within approximately six hours, starting from 10:00 today.

This interruption comes after the Olifantspoort line was offline for most of yesterday, further straining water supply systems. As a result, all supply areas within Polokwane Municipality will be affected by water shortages during this period.

Polokwane Municipality appeals to residents receiving supply to use water sparingly.

Updates will be provided as soon as new information becomes available.

The municipality apologizes for the inconvenience caused.
