Public Notice – IDP/BUDGET CONSULTATION IN SESHEGO CONTINUES: BEWARE OF FAKE POSTER – 04 April 2024

It has come to the attention of Polokwane Municipality that a poster has been circulated, falsely claiming the postponement of the Integrated Development Plan (IDP)/Budget consultation process in Seshego.

The municipality wishes to categorically state that this poster is fake and is the work of individuals seeking to disrupt and derail the municipality’s community engagement efforts. The IDP/Budget consultation process in Seshego is not postponed.

Residents of the Seshego Cluster are hereby informed that the Executive Mayor, Cllr Makoro John Mpe, remains committed to engaging with them on matters crucial to the development of the community.

The consultation session will proceed as scheduled at 10:00 at the Ngoako Ramatlhodi Indoor Sport Complex. This is an opportunity for residents to voice their concerns, aspirations, and suggestions for the upcoming 2024/25 financial year starting in July.

Polokwane Municipality urges all residents to disregard any misleading information and further encourages active participation of all affected residents in shaping the future of the municipality.
