Polokwane Municipality’s water reservoirs are showing signs of improvement after several days of strain. The concerted efforts of the municipality, the community and Lepelle Northern Water are gradually restoring the water levels to more sustainable levels.

However, it is crucial to emphasize that despite these positive developments, some areas within the municipality are still experiencing water shortages. Therefore, the municipality urges all stakeholders, including residents and businesses, to continue using water sparingly until the situation stabilizes completely.

Conservation measures remain essential to ensure that everyone has access to an adequate water supply. By using water responsibly, we can collectively mitigate the impact of water shortages on the community.
