PUBLIC NOTICE – POLOKWANE MUNICIPALITY CALLS FOR URGENT WATER CONSERVATION – 8 March 2024

Polokwane Municipality is issuing an urgent appeal to all customers receiving water supply to utilize this precious resource sparingly.

Due to persistently high temperatures, several areas are facing low pressure of water supply while high-lying areas are experiencing shortages.

The municipality is closely monitoring water supply situation and is taking immediate action to address the issue. Temporary relief measures, such as deploying water tankers, are being implemented to mitigate the impact of the water shortage.

Considering these conditions, the municipality strongly encourages all residents and businesses to save water whenever they can.

Cooperation of all users is vital in ensuring that water is available for essential needs and emergencies.
