POLOKWANE MUNICIPALITY RESPONDS TO OUTAGE IN CAPRICORN AREA

Polokwane Municipality is aware of an unplanned power outage affecting the area around Voortrekker Street and adjacent streets in the Capricorn area of the city. The technical teams are working to establish the cause of this disruption and expedite the restoration of power.

At this stage, the municipality does not have an estimated timeframe for the completion of repairs and restoration of supply as the teams are still in the process of locating the fault. Polokwane Municipality is committed to keeping all affected parties informed and will provide regular updates as the situation progresses.

In the meantime, the municipality urges all residents and businesses to prioritize safety by treating all electrical wiring as live and ensuring that all appliances are switched off during the outage.

The municipality apologizes for the inconvenience caused and appreciates patience and understanding of all as the municipality works to resolve this issue promptly.
