Public Notice – POWER OUTAGE ALERT – 04 April 2024

 

ALL affected customers are advised that there is an ongoing power outage affecting the following areas:

• Makro
• Old Freshmark
• Shoprite Warehouse
• Traffic lights in the Magnavia area

 

This outage is due to an 11kV cable fault. The maintenance team is working to locate and repair the fault. However, the municipality regrets not inform affected customers that a specific time frame cannot be provided for the restoration of power at this moment.

 

Polokwane Municipality apologizes for any inconvenience caused and appreciates patience and understanding of all. 

 

Updates will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.
