Public Notice – Power outage in parts of the city – 04 June 2024

 

The municipality is aware of the current power outage affecting in the city including Ladanna, Bendor, Thornhill and parts of Flora Park. This outage is due to a fault at the Gamma, Iota, and Delta substations. The municipal team is investigating the issue.

 

The municipality will provide updates on the progress in locating the fault and restoring power.

 

For safety of all affected, users are advised to treat all electrical wiring as live and switch off all appliances to avoid injury and damage when power is restored.
