POWER OUTAGE IN SESHEGO

Polokwane Municipality would like to inform the community of Seshego that Hospital Substation is currently off due to damage sustained by 11kV cables, which has resulted in a power outage in the area.

The municipal technical team is working to restore power. Certain sections will be restored soon; however, the affected area (faulty section) will need to be isolated first. This step is necessary to conduct thorough tests and identify the specific cables that were damaged. Once these assessments are complete, repairs will follow, after which full power restoration can commence.

At this stage, the municipality is unable to provide an estimated time for full restoration but will continue to keep the community updated on progress.

The municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused.
