TEMPORARY DISRUPTION OF WATER SUPPLY TO POLOKWANE MUNICIPALITY

Polokwane Municipality wishes to inform residents and all stakeholders that it has been notified by Lepelle Northern Water of a power outage at the Ebenezer Plant. As a result, the plant is currently unable to pump water to the municipality, impacting all supply areas within Polokwane Municipality.

Lepelle Northern Water has engaged Greater Tzaneen Local Municipality to urgently address the matter and restore operations at the plant. Polokwane Municipality will provide updates as more information becomes available.

The municipality urges all residents receiving supply to use water sparingly during this period and further apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
