TEMPORARY WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION DUE TO PIPE LEAK AT OLIFANTSPOORT PLANT

Polokwane Municipality wishes to inform residents and stakeholders that Lepelle Northern Water has temporarily stopped operations at the Olifantspoort Water Treatment Plant due to a pipe leak just outside the pump station.

The estimated time required for repairs is approximately eight (8) hours from 12h00.

Several areas will experience varying degrees of water supply disruption.

The municipality is closely monitoring the situation and working with Lepelle Northern Water to ensure that repairs are completed within the estimated timeframe.

Residents receiving supply are advised to use water sparingly. Water tankers will be deployed to severely affected areas.

The municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused.
