Public Notice – UPDATE ON SESHEGO WATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATIONS – 09 May 2024
Polokwane Municipality wishes to provide an update to the community and all stakeholders on the latest developments with regards to operations of the Seshego Water Treatment Plant.
The plant is now operational and ready to provide supply to the community, marking an important milestone in the municipality’s ongoing efforts to ensure reliable water supply to the community of Seshego and surrounding areas.
However, the municipality regrets to inform the public that the system is currently experiencing issues with pipe leaks or bursts in the township area when water is released from the plant. The pipes are promptly attended to with utmost urgency by municipal team of technicians and engineers.
Once the necessary repairs are completed and the plant is fully operational, the community will be informed accordingly.
The municipality reassures the community that the Seshego Water Treatment Plant is equipped to meet the water needs of the area, and remains committed to delivering clean and safe drinking water to all the residents and businesses.
