UPDATE ON WATER SUPPLY DISRUPTION IN POLOKWANE
Polokwane Municipality has received an update from Lepelle Northern Water regarding the water supply situation.
Repairs at the Olifantspoort Plant have been successfully completed, and they are currently in the process of filling the line. It should also be noted that it may take some time for water supply to reach all areas within the municipality.
The earlier disruption was due to a technical glitch, involving a delivery valve stuck in a closed position at the Olifantspoort Plant. Persistent power dips at the Ebenezer Plant have also been impacting water supply to Polokwane Municipality.
While the situation improves, some areas may still experience limited or delayed water availability. The municipality urges all residents to remain patient as supply stabilizes.
The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
