UPDATE: POWER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION IN BENDOR AREA

Polokwane Municipality hereby provides the following update regarding the ongoing power outage in the Bendor area, affecting:
o Academy Street
o Bet-Shalom Christian School
o Casa Acacia Estate
o Debron Estate
o Faranani Street

The technical team identified a fault on the medium voltage (11kV) underground cable during the night. Repairs and cable jointing are currently underway.

Due to the lack of an alternative supply point, electricity supply to the affected areas remains off while the repairs are being executed. The estimated time for power restoration is 16h00 today.

Residents and businesses are kindly reminded to treat all electrical wiring as live and to switch off all appliances to ensure safety when power is restored.

Polokwane Municipality apologizes for the inconvenience caused and thanks the community for their patience as the municipality works to resolve this matter.
