UPDATE: WATER SUPPLY DISRUPTION DUE TO POWER OUTAGE AT EBENEZER PLANT
Polokwane Municipality hereby informs residents and businesses that Ebenezer Plant is now operational and has begun pumping water to Polokwane. However, customers should note that it may take some time for the water flow to reach all areas, particularly those that are further from the plant.
This morning, most areas, especially those supplied with water from the Ebenezer Plant – from Segwashi and Mankweng to the City and Seshego – were affected by a disruption in water supply due to a power outage on the supply line to the plant.
Lepelle Northern Water reported the issue to the Greater Tzaneen Local Municipality, and efforts have since been made to restore operations.
The municipality continues to monitor the situation closely and will provide further updates as necessary.
Polokwane Municipality appreciates patience and understanding of all affected customers during this time.
