WATER SUPPLY DISRUPTIONS ACROSS POLOKWANE

Polokwane Municipality wishes to inform all residents that it has received a notification from Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) regarding an urgent operational matter affecting water supply.

LNW has reported a pipe leak on the Specon line, compelling the temporary shutdown of the Olifantspoort Plant. LNW anticipates the completion of repairs within approximately eight hours.

While this maintenance is underway, Ebenezer line is also experiencing recurring power failures, compounding the challenges in water supply.

These developments are placing additional strain on the already limited water supply to all areas within the municipality. Polokwane Municipality is monitoring the situation and will provide water relief to communities experiencing shortages.

The municipality further appeals to residents in areas currently receiving water supply to use it sparingly and responsibly to ensure availability for as many households as possible during this time.
