WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION DUE TO POWER FAILURE
Polokwane Municipality hereby informs the public water supply from one of Lepelle Northern Water’s key pump stations (ps3) has been disrupted due to a power failure.
Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) said it has reported the incident to Eskom, but unfortunately, no time estimates have been provided for the restoration of power and subsequent water supply from this line.
This disruption comes at a time when the municipality is already facing reduced reservoir levels, which has further impacted water distribution across various areas.
All areas of supply within Polokwane Municipality are affected.
Polokwane Municipality urges all residents in areas currently receiving water to use it sparingly as the municipality and LNW work to manage this situation.
The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
