Polokwane Municipality is raising the bar with its sports facilities! The municipality has resumed construction on the province’s first softball stadium, and work on the Extension 78 stadium will start this financial year.

Mankweng Stadium is almost finished, and Seshego Stadium is getting some exciting upgrades. The municipal tennis courts are now in top shape, and the Nirvana Swimming Pools will be back and better than ever in September.

Other municipal pools are getting their usual TLC, too.

As Executive Mayor Cllr MakoroJohn Mpe said at a sport event to celebrates sports excellence, “We will continue to build infrastructure even in rural areas and our infrastructure in the city must be top class.”
