#ReagaPolokwane | If you hear drums banging and see a motorcade with blue lights and sirens in the CBD this morning, don’t worry—it’s not a parade for a new action movie, it’s just Polokwane Municipality flexing its event-hosting muscles!

Today, our very own Jack Botes Hall is the proud venue for the official opening of the 7th Limpopo Legislature where we are rolling out the red carpet for Premier Dr. Phophi Ramathuba as she will be addressing the citizens of Limpopo.

While it is not exactly an open invitation (you’ll need to get that from the Legislature or the Office of the Premier), we couldn’t resist bragging a bit about our fantastic facilities and our hosting prowess.

But wait, there’s more! Next week, we are upping the ante with the Joint Sitting of Mayors and Speakers hosted by SALGA National at the very same Jack Botes Hall.

And that’s not all – tomorrow we are rolling out the welcome mat for Magesi FC to the PSL, Polokwane City, Sekhukhune United FC, Kgothatso Montjane from Wimbledon, the President of Netball SA from the Netball World Cup, and the tireless Comrades marathon runners at the new Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Oh, and did we mention? We also hosted the National Youth Day commemorations at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on June 16th. Polokwane is the place to be. We are not just a city, we’re the heartbeat where major events come to life.
