SESHEGO WATER TREATMENT PLANT NOW SUPPLIES WATER TO THE COMMUNITY – 28 May 2024
The state-of-the-art Seshego Water Treatment Plant is now supplying water to the people of Seshego. The plant started operating at full capacity on Monday, gradually providing between 7 and 8.4 megalitres of water per day to the system. This amount will increase to 10 megalitres per day.
Today, Executive Mayor Cllr Makoro John Mpe visited the plant to see this important milestone in improving the water supply. He stated that the municipality will continue with other water projects, such as the Bloodriver boreholes, to ensure a steady water supply.
The operation of the plant has significantly improved reservoir levels, especially in Seshego and Krugersburg, for the first time in a long while.
