APOLOGY FOR DELAYED COMMUNICATION REGARDING ROAD CLOSURE AND CONSTRUCTION WORKS IN SESHEGO

Polokwane Municipality sincerely apologizes to all affected road users and residents for the delayed communication regarding the road closure at Nelson Mandela Bo-Okelo Ditlou Crossing, between Chris Hani Drive and Ditlou Street, in Zone 1 and Zone 2 of Seshego.

The closure is due to the construction of a 100-meter road, which includes the installation of stormwater drainage, walkway, and street lighting to improve accessibility and safety in the area.

The construction commenced on Tuesday, 28 January 2025 and is expected to be completed by Friday, 28 February 2025.

The municipality acknowledges that timely notification is essential and regrets any inconvenience caused by the delay in informing the public.

All affected road users are advised to use alternative guided routes. Polokwane Municipality urges the public to exercise patience as it enhances road infrastructure for the benefit of the community.
