CATHOLIC EDUCATORS: A CELEBRATION OF DEDICATION AND EXCELLENCE

Today, the Executive Mayor, Cllr Makoro John Mpe, joined the faithful community of Subiaco Primary School in celebrating Catholic Teachers’ Day, an occasion that recognizes the commitment of educators in shaping young minds.

In his address, the Executive Mayor extended his heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Rufus Mashau, Principal of St. Bede’s High School, for his outstanding leadership and dedication to nurturing future leaders. “Your passion for education continues to bear fruit year after year, and we are truly grateful for your service to our children and community,” he said.

As a gesture of encouragement and support, the Executive Mayor proudly awarded tablets and hampers to the top-performing learners of St. Bede’s High School Class of 2024, Kgomo Molatelo and Ramokgopha Linah.

Executive Mayor also praised Mrs. Marima Sekedi Gladys, Principal of Subiaco Primary School, for laying a strong foundation in the lives of many successful students. To honor her invaluable contribution, she was presented with a laptop as a token of appreciation for her dedication and commitment.

May God continue to bless all Catholic educators who selflessly guide and inspire our youth with wisdom and love. “For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.” – Proverbs 2:10.
