Public Notice – SCHEDULED WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION – 03 June 2024
Polokwane Municipality wishes to inform all residents and businesses of an interruption regarding water supply, as communicated by Lepelle Northern Water.
- Date of interruption: Wednesday, 12th June 2024
- Duration: 24 hours
Olifantspoort Pump Station 3 will be temporarily shut down to facilitate the replacement of the gate valve controlling water to the Krugersburg and Seshego reservoirs. This essential work is part of the ongoing Ebenezer/Olifantspoort upgrade project.
Residents and businesses in the affected areas, in particular City and Seshego, may experience a temporary disruption in their water supply. The interruption is necessary to ensure the long-term reliability and efficiency of Lepelle Northern Water’s water infrastructure.
Polokwane Municipality apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates understanding and patience of all affected customers during this period.
