WATER SUPPLY DISRUPTION DUE TO CRITICAL PIPE REPAIRS

Polokwane Municipality hereby informs all residents and stakeholders that the municipal Water and Sanitation team is currently working to repair a pipe burst on the Dap Naude line in Ga-Makanye. This pipeline supplies water to Polokwane Water Treatment Works and as a result, water supply to the city area has been affected.

The team is working tirelessly to resolve the issue and estimates that repairs will be completed within 12 hours from 18h00 this evening. During this period, the municipality will closely monitor the situation and provide assistance to areas experiencing water shortages.

Polokwane Municipality is doing everything possible to restore normal water service as quickly as possible. The municipality further appreciates patience and understanding of all customers as it works to resolve this matter.
