WATER SUPPLY UPDATE FOR SESHEGO AREA

Several areas IN Seshego have been experiencing water shortages and low pressure due to the breakdown of multiple boreholes in Bloodriver.

A dedicated municipal team is currently working on repairing the remaining boreholes and working to restore full functionality. The restoration efforts are progressing well and are expected to be completed soon, at which time the water supply to all affected areas will be fully restored.

In the meantime, water tankers will be deployed to assist areas currently experiencing shortages. Residents in affected areas that have not yet received water tanker services are encouraged to promptly report this to the Dedicated Water and Sanitation Helpline, allowing the municipality to provide timely assistance.

Polokwane Municipality requests the community’s patience and understanding as it works to resolve this matter and apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
