Residents and business areas in the city, Seshego and Mankweng are notified that the municipality is experiencing waste collection backlog in parts of the city and Seshego area due to shortage of trucks. The municipality will continue to work around the clock to clear the backlog and therefore residents are advised to leave the waste bags in the street so to allow the municipality to collect. It is expected that the backlog could have a relay effect of about 48 to 72 hours before the situation returns to normal. The municipality apologises for the inconvenience and assures that the situation is being attended. Waste management issues can be reported to the municipality on 0152902366/67. End
