#ReagaPolokwane | Dealing with service challenges head-on, on the spot. Polokwane municipal team, led by Executive Mayor Cllr Mosema Mpe, is in Seshego today to deal with community challenges from billing to indigent support, water, electricity and other service challenges.

First stop at the Seshego Purification Plant. A new plant is being developed to augment water supply from Lepelle Northern Water in an effort to deal with water shortage in the area.

"We want quality projects, good workmanship and professionalism. Our supply Chain office must tell us of those contractors that deliver good quality work. All in all, a good work is being done which will benefit the residents of Seshego", Cllr Mpe said referring to the Purification Plant.

However, this is not the case with Leeto la Polokwane Bus depot construction. "There is no progress here, as far as I know as I leave here, this contract is terminated. Let us get a new contractor who is serious about delivering quality service to our people", Cllr Mpe emphasized.

He further advised the Energy Services team to deal with street lights challenges with speed.

"Issues of service delivery are emergency. Our people must be served with love and smile and be provided with quality services. We need to fix the mindset and attitude of our employees and issues of nepotism in the municipality. Let us help the poor, we must be truthful to ourselves. Greed must come to an end. Not all is perfect, but we must fix where there are challenges", concluded Cllr Mosema Mpe.
