Residents are alerted to stop watering gardens as is negatively
affecting reservoir levels. Some areas in the high catchment are
currently experiencing water shortage or low pressure as a result of low
reservoir levels attributed to high consumption.
Both Olifants and Ebenezer plants are pumping to Polokwane optimaly.
Some areas like zone 5 in Seshego and Mamotintane in Mankweng are
receiving relief theough water tankers. The waterworks stations in
Seshego and Dalmada are now open to the public to collect water from.
The stations close at 9pm until the situation stabilizes.
Residents in lower catchment areas are urged to use water sparingly. LNW
and Polokwane continue to work together to manage the supply.
