Skip Navigation LinksPublic Notice - PLANNED WATER SUPPLY SHUTDOWN FROM EBENEZER BY LNW - 23 November 2021

Residents and businesses are hereby notified of planned water supply shutdown to Polokwane Municipality from Ebenezer line. According to Lepelle Northern Water, the planned shutdown, which is expected to commence at 07h00 on Wednesday 24th November 2021 and estimated to last for 24 hours, is the second phase of the replacement of valves on the main pipeline.

This will affect water supply to all areas of supply within Polokwane Municipality. It comes at the time when the municipal reservoirs are experiencing low supply from the Olifantspoort line due to muddy water from Mohlaletsi River for days now.

The municipality will, in the meantime, supply water through water tankers to all affected areas.

Normal water supply shall be restored once Lepelle Northern Water the work. Polokwane Municipality apologizes for the inconvenience caused.

The municipality apologises for the inconvenience. 

Water challenges such as supply shortage, pipe bursts and leaks, leaking water meters and open hydrants can be reported to municipal Water and Sanitation helpline at 015 023 5376 / 015 023 5629.
