Polokwane Municipality’s Rates Hall and Building section (for submission of building plans) will be closed on Friday, 07th August 2020 to COVID-19 related cases involving members of staff attached to the Rates Hall.
The Rates Hall and Building section will be decontaminated as part of the safety and prevention protocols. This is Polokwane Municipality’s ongoing determination to ensure safety among its employees and members of the public visiting the municipal facilities.
Due to Monday being a public holiday, the Rates Hall will only resume operations from Tuesday, 11th August 2020.
It is by this reason that the municipality encourages rates payers to make use of other available payment methods such as Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) and EasyPay at Spar, Pep, Woolworths, Pick n Pay, Shoprite, Checkers, Post Office, Total and Sasol fuel stations. Polokwane Municipality urges all its employees and members of the public to observe and practice COVID-19 safety measures that include wearing of a face mask at all time, regularly washing hands with soap or sanitizing, social distancing and coughing etiquette.
The municipality appreciates your understanding.
