Polokwane Municipality is currently experiencing a challenge with four of its boreholes at Sand River North. The boreholes are currently out of operation affecting water levels at Potgieter Reservoir.

This has, as a result, affected water supply to parts of Seshego, high lying areas of Nirvana, Welgelegen, Central Business District and areas along Magazyn, Burger and Compesatie streets.

The contractors are working on restoring the boreholes and supply to the affected supply areas. In the meantime, water tankers will assist those areas with supply of water.

Areas receiving supply are urged to use water sparingly.
