Polokwane Municipality has been made aware of water challenge affecting the Thornhill area. The municipal water team is working together with Lepelle Northern Water to resolve the challenge.
In the meantime, water tankers have been deployed to the area to provide temporary relief. Normal supply of water shall be restored once the challenge is dealt with.
Reservoirs supplying to the area and other parts of the municipality are still suffering from low levels. It is by this reason that the municipality urges all receiving supply to use water sparingly.
All users are urged to report water challenges promptly to water and sanitation call centre at 015 023 5376 / 015 023 5629 so that the municipality can come to the aid of those affected.
