PLANNED POWER OUTAGE TO AFFECT WATER SUPPLY TO POLOKWANE
Polokwane Municipality wishes to inform all stakeholders that Lepelle Northern Water
has communicated a planned power outage due to refurbishment work by Greater
Tzaneen Local Municipality.
The refurbishment of the 33kV line on the Tzaneen Main Feeder will result in the
stoppage of the Ebenezer Scheme.
The power outage is scheduled to begin at 06:00 on Wednesday, 26 June 2024,
and is expected to last for two days.
This planned outage will affect water supply in all areas within Polokwane Municipality
from Segwashi, Mankweng to City and Seshego.
Polokwane Municipality will monitor the situation closely and provide temporary relief
to all affected areas using water tankers during the disruption.
The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates
understanding and cooperation of all affected stakeholders.
