PLANNED WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION DUE TO EBENEZER PUMP STATION SHUTDOWN
Polokwane Municipality hereby informs residents, businesses and all affected stakeholders of a planned water supply interruption due to essential infrastructure upgrades by Lepelle Northern Water (LNW).
As part of the Olifantspoort and Ebenezer Refurbishment Project, LNW will be conducting critical installation work, which necessitates a temporary shutdown of the Ebenezer Pump Station as follows:
- Date of shutdown: Tuesday, 18 February 2025
- Duration: 24 hours
- Affected areas: All areas receiving water supply from the Ebenezer Scheme from Segwashi, Boyne, Mentz, Mankweng to City and Seshego.
Residents and businesses are advised to use water sparingly during this period to prevent severe shortages; to store sufficient water in advance and stay updated through municipal communication channels.
