POWER OUTAGE AT GAMMA SUBSTATION

 

Polokwane Municipality is currently experiencing a power outage due to two faulty large transformers at Gamma Substation. As a result, a significant portion of Ladanna and surrounding is without electricity.

 

The municipality’s technical team is on-site, working to replace the necessary components. If all goes as planned, power restoration is anticipated within approximately two hours. The municipality shall provide further updates as the situation progresses.

 

The municipality appreciates patience and understanding of all affected customers as it works to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
