TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE DUE TO ACCIDENT – LANDROS MARE STREET

Polokwane Municipality hereby informs all road users of a temporary road closure on Landros Mare Street between Potgieter Avenue and Pietersburg Street due to an overturned truck blocking the bridge near Makro and Hoër Tegniese Skool Tom Naudé.

Municipal Traffic officials are on-site to manage the situation and guide motorists accordingly. To ensure the smooth flow of traffic, the following alternative routes are recommended:
o Motorists entering the city from the Airport side are advised to divert via Vermikuliet Street or Pietersburg Street through the Ladine area.

o Motorists exiting the city should use Potgieter Avenue and other available alternative routes.

The affected section of Landros Mare Street shall be reopened as soon as the obstruction is cleared and the roadway is deemed safe.

Polokwane Municipality urges all road users to exercise patience, adhere to traffic management instructions and plan their routes accordingly. The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience caused and appreciates your cooperation in ensuring public safety.
