UNPLANNED POWER INTERRUPTION AFFECTING MADIBA PARK AND ZONE 1

Polokwane Municipality is aware of an unplanned power interruption affecting Madiba Park, Zone 1 and Zone 1 Extension due to a broken medium-voltage overhead conductor.

To minimize the impact, the faulty section of the network will be isolated and power will be restored through an alternative ring supply.

The estimated restoration times are as follows:
• Madiba Park and Zone 1 Extension – by 10h00
• Zone 1 – power will be restored once the fault is fully repaired.

Residents in the affected areas are advised to treat all electrical wiring as live during this period for safety purposes.

The municipality apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates patience of all while the technical teams work to resolve the issue.
