UNPLANNED POWER INTERRUPTION AFFECTING NIRVANA AREA

Polokwane Municipality is aware of power interruption affecting Westenburg, Nirvana and Rainbow Park.

The municipality’s technical teams have been dispatched immediately to investigate the cause, isolate the fault and undertake the necessary work to restore supply as swiftly as possible.

The municipality understands the inconvenience this may cause and appreciates patience and cooperation of all affected users. The estimated restoration time will be communicated once fault isolation is complete.

All affected areas are advised to treat all electrical wiring as live and to switch off all appliances to prevent injury and damage when supply is restored.

Customers are encouraged to download and utilise MyPolokwane Citizen App to report electricity queries for a prompt response from the municipality’s technical teams.
