UNPLANNED POWER INTERRUPTION – DALMADA AREA AND SURROUNDINGS

Polokwane Municipality is aware of an unplanned power interruption currently affecting the
following areas:

o Dalmada residential area
o Dalmada Water Treatment Plant (WTP)
o Traffic lights along the R71 towards Mankweng

This will also have negative impact on water supply from the plant to the city area. The municipality’s electrical response teams have been dispatched to investigate the cause of the
outage and to initiate the necessary processes to restore power as swiftly as possible.

At this stage, the estimated time of restoration is not yet known. Further updates will be communicated after the response team has completed the preliminary technical assessments on site.
