UPDATE – WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION NOTIFICATION

Polokwane Municipality would like to provide an update on the progress of the ongoing
maintenance work on the Witkos pipeline by Lepelle Northern Water.

Lepelle Northern Water has confirmed that welding teams are finalizing the welding
and corrosion protection process. As of 2pm this afternoon, all works will be
completed, allowing the line filling to resume.

Water is expected to start arriving in Polokwane around 7pm tonight, with full
operations reinstated by approximately 11pm tonight and into tomorrow morning.

Polokwane Municipality appreciates the patience and cooperation of all residents and
stakeholders during this maintenance period by Lepelle Northern Water. The
municipality urges all to continue to use water sparingly as the system stabilizes.
